I made an error reciting a verse from the Qur’an.
Instead of saying “many of the unbelievers wish to cause you to stray”, the correct verse says “a faction of the unbelievers wish to cause you to stray”.
This Khutbah is about the importance of not following invented matters attached to Islam but to stick to the clear and preserved sources of Islam for belief and action. It is about knowing that Muslims are supposed to distinguish between authentic Islam and the false Islam of the deviant sects.
